Is your house a mess…and why it matters?

The Silent To-Do List: Listen to Your Clutter

Have you ever noticed how your space speaks to you, even when you're not consciously aware of it? That pile of papers on your desk, the overflowing inbox, or the cluttered kitchen counter—each item silently whispers tasks and obligations, waiting to be addressed.

What is the Silent To-Do List
Imagine your environment as a silent to-do list, filled with unspoken tasks and unfinished business. Each object carries a message, reminding you of things to be done, decisions to be made, and actions to take. But unlike a traditional to-do list, this one doesn't come with checkboxes or reminders—it's up to you to decipher its signals and take action.

Think about it…that pile of donation items in the corner…the trashcan that needs to be wipe down…the winter coats that need to be packed away…they are all SILENTLY talking to and adding to your mental clutter. So when you sit down to work your brand partnership with Young Living…your silent to-do list is very much there.

Decluttering Your Space, Decluttering Your Mind
Clearing physical clutter isn't just about tidying up your space—it's about reclaiming control and clarity in your life. By tackling the items on your silent to-do list, you create space for focus, creativity, and productivity to thrive. As you declutter, pay attention to the mental weight that lifts with each item cleared away.

For me, I took a few afternoons to bring order to my physical workspace. I have a desk in my bedroom and I needed to bring order to the chaos that was my desk….BUT WAIT… THIS IS NOT A LOOOONG EXTENDED process that feeds procrastination on things that move the needle for my business—-this is
+ LIMITED
+ INTENTIONAL
+ FOCUSED
And then I GET. TO. WORK.

So I cleaned off my desk, filed documents in folders, purchased a little cart to organize my folders, cleaned out my email, shredded a ton of documents, and prepared my physical space so I could be mentally clear. And I got.to.work!

Take Action Today
Challenge yourself to tackle one item on your silent to-do list today. Whether it's sorting through that stack of papers, decluttering your digital inbox, or clearing out a junk drawer, every small step counts. Listen to what your space is telling you, and take action to create the environment—and the life—you desire.
